This is a pretty church. Heavy timber trusses spanning 52ft with arched douglas fir beams and steel tie rods.
Vermont Timber Works traveled to Springfield, MO to install after hand crafting each timber in our North Springfield, VT shop.

Many many progress shots for our friends at the Fresh Air Fund and Storm King Contracting. These douglas fir timbers and logs will soon be the New Camp Hayden Dining Hall.
From the layout, cutting (all by hand), to the finishing...it's quite a process. The Vermont Timber Works CREW scatters when I bring out the camera...
Trust me, there really are guys working on this!
