The Vermont Timber Works shop is full of timbers (this is a very good thing). Douglas fir timbers for the Chapel for Holy Apostles project to be erected in October of this year.
From the glulam arches to the king posts, this project is cool. Below is the 3D model (very nice Butch)!
The Vermont Timber Works crew will be raising this timber frame. Lot's of pictures will be taken I am sure of that. Stay tuned!

Notre Dame Academy gets a new Timber Frame Chapel
The Notre Dame Academy located on Staten Island is getting a new Arts & Humanities Center . A timber framechapel is part of the scope.
Vermont Timber Works is proud to have been chosen for this project and fabrication is about to begin. Douglas fir timbers in a band sawn finish will be hand crafted, a combination of steel joinery, traditional joinery and some BIG sizes will make for an interesting, exciting and impressive project.

Stay tuned for progress shots.
