Timber Frame Homes by Vermont Timber Works
A timber frame home by Vermont Timber Works is always a good idea. Hand crafted, traditional joinery and custom designs. NICE! Here are two of my favorite completed timber frame projects by VTW.
This very pretty timber frame home features hand hewn white pine and a gambrel roof design. Below is an interior finished shot. Gorgoeous, don't you think?
Another favorite is our Chase House. Native hemlock timber frame home with traditional joinery, mortise and tenon with hardwood pegs and dovetail joints.
This family has outgrown their cape and has called Vermont Timber Works for an addition. Repeat business is the best!

Timber Frame Church
This is a pretty church. Heavy timber trusses spanning 52ft with arched douglas fir beams and steel tie rods.

Vermont Timber Works traveled to Springfield, MO to install after hand crafting each timber in our North Springfield, VT shop.

Timber Frame...Progress in the SHOP!
Many many progress shots for our friends at the Fresh Air Fund and Storm King Contracting. These douglas fir timbers and logs will soon be the New Camp Hayden Dining Hall.
From the layout, cutting (all by hand), to the finishing...it's quite a process. The Vermont Timber Works CREW scatters when I bring out the camera...

Trust me, there really are guys working on this!
The finished custom timber frame will look like this...
